Your gift puts a trained Rescue Company Operator in the field, a Garrison Specialist in the room, and a person who has given up on themselves back in the fight.

He came home from two tours carrying things he had never been taught to put down. A marriage that was fracturing under the weight of it. A drinking problem he was managing just well enough to keep his job. A faith he had stopped believing in somewhere between the person he was before he left and the person he came back as.
He was not looking for help. He had been through programs. He had sat in rooms and heard the right words and felt nothing. He was not angry about that. He was just tired.
What changed was not a program. It was a person. A Rescue Company Vanguard Operator named Derek who sat down next to him at a community event, ordered a coffee, and did not leave when things got complicated. Derek showed up again and again, for three weeks, without an agenda, until Marcus was ready to take a step. While Derek spoke to Marcus, Ryan was there to watch over them both.
"I did not walk through that door because of a website or a flyer. I walked through it because someone showed up, again and again, until I was ready."
When Marcus walked through the door of his first Rescue Company gathering, there was a team waiting for him. A pastoral care specialist who asked the right questions and actually listened. A mental health specialist who connected him with a counselor who understood what he had been through. A recovery specialist with four years of sobriety who said: I know exactly what you are carrying. Let me show you what it looks like to put it down.
Six months later, Marcus is thirty-one days sober. He is eating dinner with his family again. His son is not avoiding him anymore. And on a Wednesday night, he walked up to Derek and said he wanted to do what Derek does. We didn't do that, God did. We just went in with the tools so God can lift him up.
That is what your gift makes possible. Not a statistic. A person who becomes the mission. This is the Great Commission.
Your $25 a month covers the training materials for one new Rescue Company Specialist. Every person who walks into a gathering equipped to provide pastoral care, mental health support, or addiction recovery coaching got there because someone invested in their preparation.
Funds: Training curriculum and certification resources for one Specialist position.
Your $50 a month keeps a trained Vanguard Operator in the field for one week. That means showing up at community events, building the relationships that eventually become the reason someone decides to take a step. The Vanguard does not work without the people willing to fund it.
Funds: One week of Vanguard outreach operations in a city unit.
Your $100 a month funds one month of peer recovery group support for a full city unit. That is the room where someone in active addiction shows up every week and finds people who are still in the fight. It is the accountability partnership that answers the phone at eleven o'clock on a Tuesday night.
Funds: One month of Garrison recovery group operations for one city unit.
Your $250 a month sponsors the full activation of a new Rescue Company Partner Church, a congregation that has built the pastoral, mental health, and recovery infrastructure to receive the people the Vanguard brings in from the field. Every activated partner church multiplies our reach in ways a single team cannot.
Funds: Partner church training, activation, and ongoing coordination.

I started The Rescue Company because I know what it feels like to be convinced that your past has put you beyond the reach of something better. That the things you have done and the things that have been done to you have disqualified you from the life you were supposed to have.
I was wrong about that. And I spent years finding out how wrong I was. The story I told about Marcus may be made up, but I assure you this is happening all over our country. We need people to join us and reach out, talk to politicians, talk to the lost.
The Rescue Company exists because I believe that the person carrying that weight right now deserves the same chance I got. Not a program. Not a pamphlet. A person who will sit down next to them, order a coffee, and not leave when things get complicated.
But that person needs to be trained. They need to be equipped. They need a team behind them and a structure that makes the mission sustainable. That is what your gift builds.
We are not asking for charity. We are asking you to join a mission. The men and women we serve gave everything they had to something they believed in. They deserve people in their corner who are willing to do the same.
If you have ever wanted to do something that matters, this is it.
The person who needs what The Rescue Company provides is not waiting for a perfect moment. They are out there right now, carrying something they were never meant to carry alone. Your gift sends someone to find them.
