I’m Justin McLane—an Army combat veteran, pastor, and author who has experienced both the darkest valleys and the surprising grace of God. For most of my life, I had no relationship with the church. In fact, I carried resentment toward Christians and lived with a deep sense of emptiness. But in August 2021, everything changed. I encountered Jesus in a way that broke through my walls and gave me a new heart.
Not long after, God called me into pastoral ministry. Today I serve as the lead pastor of New Hope Fellowship in Tennessee, where I have the privilege of walking with people through their own stories of pain, searching, and restoration. My passion is simple: to help others discover that God is not distant, impersonal, or unreachable—He is personal. He knows your name, sees your struggles, and invites you into an intimate relationship with Him.
That message is at the core of my writing. I’m currently authoring God is Personal: Finding the Father in a Crowded World—a book written especially for wounded believers and new believers who feel lost in the noise of culture and religion. Through honest storytelling, biblical truth, and pastoral encouragement, I want to show that God meets us not in our perfection but in our brokenness.
Whether through preaching, writing, or simply sitting across the table in conversation, my heart is to guide others into a deeper encounter with the Father. If you’re weary, searching, or unsure of where you stand with God, I want you to know—you are not alone. There is hope. There is healing. And there is a God who is closer than you think.
